Clinicians and child providers are often pulled into the expectation of “fixing” a child’s behaviors, emotions, or functioning — a pressure that can create exhaustion, frustration, and even rupture with caregivers. Join us to teach caregivers how to “out therapist” the therapist instead.
This workshop is designed to help therapists recognize the subtle ways the “fixer role” shows up in clinical work and offers strategies to shift toward collaboration, curiosity, and shared responsibility for change. Participants will learn practical approaches for operationalizing symptoms, reframing progress, and setting realistic therapeutic goals.
Upon completing the live virtual training, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance for attending the training.
