This course is intended for clinicians seeking proficiency certification, have completed the intiial training and are attending consultation calls. This course is also available to clinicians who have proficiency certificaiton in TF-CBT and need a refresher.

Training Description

This course is intended for clinicians seeking TF-CBT proficiency certification, and have already completed the initial training and are attending consultation calls. This course is also available to clinicians who have proficiency certification in TF-CBT and need a refresher. This training will be held virtually on the Zoom platform. The Zoom link will become available to you in your account once you have completed your registration.

Identify at least one strategy for engaging caregivers in TF-CBT to support treatment.
Explain at least one strategy for engaging youth in the PRACTICE components to support treatment outcomes.
Explain at least one strategy for integrating gradual exposure in TF-CBT to help clients gain control over trauma-related challenges.
Explain at least one technique for supporting clients in the narration process to help clients gain mastery and strengthen the caregiver-child bond.
Identify at least one strategy to identify and address unhelpful and inaccurate trauma related cognitions to reduce long-term negative effects of trauma.
Teach at least one technique for processing and regulating emotions to help families overcome trauma-related challenges.

Upon completing the live virtual training, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance for attending the training.

Prerequisites: Clinicians and supervisors who have already taken the initial TF-CBT course or have proficiency certificate and need a refresher.

CE Hours: 5.5

Target Audience: Clinicians practicing TF-CBT who are aiming for proficiency certification or any TF-CBT clinician seeking a refresher course.

All activities in this training are offered for continuing education credit excluding any breaks. CE Certificates of Completion will be emailed within two weeks of processing your completed online evaluation.
