Training Description

This interactive half-day training is designed specifically for behavioral health clinicians looking to deepen their knowledge and confidence in providing family therapy and systemic clinical practice.

This dynamic training combines practical strategies, real-world case examples, discussion, and experiential learning to equip participants with tools they can immediately apply in practice.

Participants will learn how to:

Reframe one or more individual client symptoms as functional responses to broader family system dynamics, creating new paths for healing.
Demonstrate Apply two or more specific engagement strategies to increase family participation and overcome perceptual and systemic barriers to care.
Utilize at least two culturally responsive approaches and cultural reframing to improve treatment outcomes when working with diverse family systems.
Apply reflective practice to Evaluate how identify at least two ways that personal family-of-origin patterns and self-regulation may impact the therapeutic alliance and clinical decision making through reflective practice and improve future care.
Identify at least two therapist-led interventions designed to manage high-arousal session dynamics and improve functional family communication.

Upon completing the live virtual training, you will receive a Certificate of Attendance for attending the training.

All training materials will be provided the week prior to the training.

Refund Policy

By registering for this training, you agree to be responsible for the full registration fee, regardless of attendance. Refunds will be honored if a written cancellation request is received at least five (5) business days prior to the first day of the training. All approved refunds will be subject to a $25.00 processing fee, which will be deducted from the total refund amount. Please allow up to six (6) weeks from the date of the cancellation request for refunds to be processed.

Continuing Education

All activities in this training are offered for continuing education credit excluding any breaks. CE Certificates of Completion will be emailed within two weeks of processing your completed online evaluation.
